I bought my Zune from the Zune website in early January. I bought a 2nd generation 80G, I also got it engraved with words and a design on the back.
But anyway, it recently would only play from 4-12 seconds of a song before the sound would stop working and it said the song could not be found, or something similar to that.
I tried hooking it up to my USB and the computer said that it was "hung". So I restarted my computer and reset my Zune, but the same thing happened.
I called the Zune phone number and I thought my problem was solved after 30 minutes on the phone. I had to clear all the contents and then hook it up to the USB in the BACK of my computer. So I tried syncing three songs to it just to see if it would work and it was fine.
Then when I tried to sync more songs ALL the songs got wiped off of it. So I tried to reset my Zune and now it's been stuck on the "Please wait." screen for over 24 hours!
What can I do to fix this problem?
Should I get a new one? There's a year warranty if I remember correctly. I did NOT drop it or anything of that nature.
I bought it barely over 2 months ago.
