lost videos

hi all
luv the zune but i had downloaded two family guy episodes onto my zune the next thing i did was deleted it from my pc .the next time tuned on my zune the two episodes were gone.my question is of course why did it happen and am i supposed to leave any and everything thats on the zune on my pc that kinda sounds dumb

i dont think you have to... BUT if you have your zune set to automatically sync when you connect it it will add anything you added and delete anything youve deleted from your zune library. To keep something youve deleted from your pc, i would take it off auto sync and also find a way to selectively sync your zune to library... i havent looked into that yet... ^^;

or you could just never sync your Zune to your pc again, then it wouldnt get deleted ^^

In the future, I would recommend backing up whatever your load onto your Zune somewhere else, either by leaving it on your computer or putting it on an external harddrive. That way, if something happens, you don't lose your music/videos/whatever.

Cannot help you with the sync question, as I don't have a Zune (yet). I know the option is available for iPods; you change the setting in iTunes.
