Zune's freaking out

I have a couple of problems i need help with please.
1. I have made a zune account and can log into the website fine, but i cannot log into the zune software with the account it says that an unknown error has occurred and nothing else, I have searched and searched and can find no fixes.. if no one knows this answer thats fine ..but its less important than the other.

2. The other day i started up my zune and it said error has occurred and zune must delete all files off your zune please click ok... so i clicked ok.. but it just kept restarting repeating the stupid message.. so i got on my zune software and tried to delete everything too, and nothing happened... so once again i surfed Microsofts "helpful site" and found that i could delete everything by holding certain buttons on the zune which i did and everything went fine.. it deleted everything on there and then i got a message to connect to my computer so i went along with it and i just figured it would install all my cool stuff back on there but it didn't it came up with a 2.3 firmware patch that i apparently must download but when i click update it states that i have insufficient memory even though i have about 25 GB left on my computer...

If anyone could help that that would be amazing..thanks

25 GB is the amount of hard drive space you have, not memory.  I'd recommend restarting your computer and do not have any applications open while trying to install the patch.  It shouldn't require that much memory so hopefully it was a fluke and a reboot will give it a fresh start.  (I'm assuming the out of memory error was showing on your computer and not the Zune).

No its saying i need more Hard Drive space not RAM .. i dno when i click the error code it takes me to microsoft.com and tells me to run Disk Cleanup but i know i should have enough space.. i've tried turning off firewall.. restarting... troubleshooting everything i can think of to no avail.. Someone plz help
