Are you running the latest firmware? I know the early 2.0 version of the firmware had issues with this.

Also the bootloader? If it is not Version 2.3 (1145) Bootloader 435 then you may want to do an update. Also finally, have you done a hard reset on your Zune?

On your device go to Settings > About > Zune What version (build) is shown? Also the bootloader? If it is not Version 2.3 (1145) Bootloader 435 then you may want to do an update. the compter does not show that it is connected. When you say it doesnt show, in Windows Explorer? or in Zune (software)? Yes hard reset is back and left.
