Not Yet Rated Zune is not recognized by my computer

Join Date: Feb 01, 2009 Post Count: 3   cdraude User Options View All Posts By cdraude View cdraude's Stats     Okay so I have had this Zune for like a year now and I got a new computer and now it isn't recognizing the Zune.  I am using Windows Vista and my Zune is an 80 GB.  Please don't waste your time telling me that I should try plugging it in the back USB ports or try a new computer or try a new cable.  I have already tried all of that.  I am getting close to just throwing this piece of shit at the wall and switch back to apple.

I am trying to instal zune firmware version 3.1 and it says current device software version - Device Recovery Mode.  When i try to install this it says device could not be updated and then says that device cant be recognized.  I already tried updating the device too.  No clue how to fix this I have searched lots of disscussion boards too.
