Conspiracy theory: microsoft added a kill all zune command on dec 31st to get people to buy new zunes

Join Date: Dec 31, 2008 Post Count: 2   ozzyski User Options View All Posts By ozzyski View ozzyski's Stats     Well this is strange and yet kinda comforting to see that my 30gig Zune is not the only one to malfunction i've had mine since November of last year and it's been a great device until this morning at 0635 on 12/31/08 now frozen on load screen really has me urked and now I figure I will just do as my girlfriend and buy an ipod I guess this is microsofts way of saying Happy New Year.

Join Date: Dec 31, 2008 Post Count: 4   oneway1969 User Options View All Posts By oneway1969 View oneway1969's Stats     I guess misery loves company.  I am another disappointed user this morning.  I haven't been happy with the software to add media to my Zune since the first update.  I have dealt with it.  This morning getting ready to walk the mile from the train to work and my Sune froze on the load.  WTH???  For the record, mine is an 80GB Zune....so it seems as though this is a problem with the entire product line.  I tried to hook up my Zune to my PC @ work (I have an extra cable here...) and nothing.  The PC doesn't even recognize that there is something plugged in.  I have been searching Microsoft's site and have found nothing. HELP!!!!!
