Not Yet Rated Zune frozen on charger pic!

Join Date: May 11, 2008 Post Count: 1   Sparks User Options View All Posts By Sparks View Sparks's Stats     Hey guys hope this helps I had the same problem as you guys are having with a 3rd party zune charger I purchased from ebay but works fine in the pc usb. According to my farther who is an electronics engineer the supply from the 3rd party charger had a too high freqency and had spikes in the supply. The supply from my usb had the correct freqency and was a good clean supply I seems as if the zune requires a good clean supply in order to charge correctly. Basically if the charger you are using is a 3rd party charger or your pc has a small unnoticeable internal fault this could be damaging your zune Try using a different pc or you could try a differnt usb port to charge your device

Mine was playing for a solid 3 hours tonight, still had plenty of battery life in it, and then just stopped playing music, and that was the screen showing.. cant get it to do anything.... eeeek

The procedure to reset  is not working . The unit was in docking cradle and was not being played . I guess I will try letting the battery drain and then plug it back in to charge . So for now I just need to hold my breath and wait !!!!

It just get froze on the Zune logo screen... and nothing helps ... I guess I will letting the battery to get died So I think today is not a good day to listen music with your zune
