There can be numerous reasons for this occurance. One could be a faulty USB port. Try a different USB port on your computer. If this does not work, then the problem may be a Sync Cable. If you know of someone else with a Zune, try using their sync cable. If this does not work, then disconnect the sync cable form any power and drain the battery completely using the play/pause button. Once the "!" symbol no longer come up, then connect via the sync cable, and wait from 60-80 seconds for the battery to charge. Look tot he bottom right of the home screen to make sure that the device is charging properly.

I find it irritating that seems to be happening to alot of people. microsoft should send a replacement and a reimbursement fee. i had an ipod before and wanted to try something new but now i feel as though i might be regretting getting the zune if microsoft cant keep up on their products. 360's and zune's crashing? whats up with that billy boy?

It shows GENRE my wifi on full battery and pause. But lock wont work and it wont shut off. my pc wont even reconize it. i did the freezer trick and nothing, Please helpp. I hope it isnt broke:sweatdrop: Please someone help.

Charged it, loaded it, switched it off, left it 24hrs came back to use it and on pressing on button, right of squircle, you get a dim picture on a black screen, of a battery (Which dies in seconds)with a lightning bolt in it!! Plugged into usb2 port, still not charging. Any one else in same boat. Is ANYONE from microsoft reading any of this or interested in helping us. Billy...We all came here instead of Apple, we deserve some real support. I think the trading standards phrase is, " Not Fit For Purpose" C'mon MS get your act together, your giving the podbores amunition!!
