I installed the Zune software when I got my 8GB Zune. It auto-searched my computer for songs and added them to my collection. When I started adding songs to my Zune I noticed some were missing from my collection. I checked the settings folder and it is set up to monitor the correct directories, but it doesn't seem to recognize all the songs. They are all in .mp3 format but they have come from a variety of sources. I can't seem to pinpoint what the difference is between songs that are in my collection versus songs that were not added. I ripped a bunch of cds using CDed and it recognizes most of them but there are a few that are not showing up. Also, there are a couple CDs that I ripped into .mp3 format where only 1/2 the tracks show up in my collection even though everything is in the same folder on my computer.
Any ideas how to get my software to recognize all my .mp3 files? Is there a way to manually add songs to my collection instead of having the Zune auto-find everything? I tried dragging and dropping the files from Windows Explorer into the open Zune window but it generally won't let me. It worked a few times but it doesn't work all the time.
