I have been attempting to install this Zune 30GB on my friend's computer, and I have downloaded the software many times, trying to uninstall and reinstall but to no avail. I have the Zune Bus Enumerator, the Root Bus Enumerator, the Zune device under Portable devices with the current driver needed, but I have an Unknown devices that always installs and uninstalls with the Zune device. I have used this guide to attempt to fix the problem (http://www.zune-online.com/forum/technical/zune-driver-t438.0.html) as well as Microsoft's tech support. At the end of the list, I found the only two options I have are to try another cable, which I don't have on hand, or to call Microsoft, which I have tried before with a different problem and ended up with no more help than before. I have used all multiple 8 USB ports in the desktop tower, and there are no hubs or front USB ports. Everytime I try to reinstall/update a driver, even after restarting, the "Please connect a Zune device messages still shows. My pointer is also doing the 2-second flash of the hourglass. I am not sure what I should try now, so I have come to my last ditch effort. Can someone give me something to try to fix the problem, but also give me somewhat detailed instructions?
