Zune Blinking Issue - NEED SOLUTIONS/HELP

after the 2AM on december 31st weird bug, i carefully followed a guide on Gizmodo.com for opening up my zune and resetting it. i did, no problem. so now im running into the problem 2 1/2 weeks later where my zune blinks when i plug it into my computer (i cant turn it on without it being plugged in), i tried holding the up and back button when its plugged it. it worked for a second. i got to the main menu and then it went black.. and now im back to square one.. before this issue came up my battery was fine, but could it still be a battery issue.. i was thinking of contacting the zune customer service but i doubt ill get help because i opened it up, any suggestions?

PS - i did this before Microsoft gave any notice as to what they were doing... a mistake unfortunately.. i should have just waited a day..

I am having the same problem. I just started yesterday, i went to use it and it wouldn't do anything. I put it on my dock charger and it would load and said the battery is full. But when i took it off the charger it shut down and would start back up until i put it back on the charger. I tried opening it and unplugging both wires then plugging them back in, but this did nothing. If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful.
