Ipod uses a different technology (suprise) than virtually everybody else. So the few people out there looking for those titles, many of whom may be parents whose kids have ipods, will see the compatability. Arrow

The Apple fans decide to be "different" than all of the more common PC users, yet, somehow, they are very much the same. You could also argue the same in reverse. Oh, well.

He wanted to know if "she wanted an MP3 player or an iPod". I told him that they were kind of the same, but not to spend the ridiculous money on an iPod and just get her the 40 dollar player, which is just fine. He's kind of technophobic, and even he's shopping for MP3 players.

All I could think was: don't most people with mp3 players know that????

I've already ripped all my language learning CD's onto my Zune and use them when I'm working outside. I would have laughed if anyone had come to me and asked if I knew I could do that.
