Hi everyone!
I'm new in here.
My parents have just bought me this product and I'm completely lost!!!!!!!!
I want to sign in but it says that it is not available in my area. I want to copy song from my PC to this device but it not allows me. Someone has told me that I can download free music for 14 days- is it true?
and my last question is: Can I sync music that I've downloaded from the internet or only bought one?
Sorry for all my questions, just want to use it asap.

Hi everyone! I'm new in here.

Welcome to the Social (how lame was that!)

I want to sign in but it says that it is not available in my area.

Where are you from?

I want to copy song from my PC to this device but it not allows me.

What format is the music in? What type of OS are you running? Are you running the latest version of the Zune software? Have you tried rebooting your device?

HOW TO REBOOT YOUR ZUNE:
To reboot your Zune, all you have to do is press and hold the Back button (the left-most button, the one with the arrow pointing left) while pressing upward on the control pad.

Someone has told me that I can download free music for 14 days- is it true?

You can try out Zune Pass for 14-days, requires a credit card, and is $15/month after the 14-days expires. This is DRMed music and as such there are limitations on where you can use it etc.

Can I sync music that I've downloaded from the internet or only bought one?

As long as it is in one of the compatible formats, and does not have a DRM (or has a DRM that is compatible with Zune, there are none).

This link explains the formats that are supported:
Audio file formats that are supported by the Zune software

Here is a brief recap of the above link:
Add audio files to your Zune collection
The Zune software automatically searches for appropriate audio files, and then adds the audio files in the following formats to your Zune collection:
? The following types of files:
? .wma
? .wmv
? .mp3
? .jpg
? .mp4
? .m4v
? .m4a
? .m4b
? .mov
? Music files that originated from the Zune Marketplace that are digital rights management (DRM)-protected. The Zune software will not play DRM-protected content from other content sources.
? Content that was ripped without any personal copy protection. The Zune software will not import any content that was ripped with personal copy protection turned on. For example, you cannot play songs that were ripped to a CD with personal copy protection by using Windows Media Player.

Where are you from? Zune is only compatible with certain countries.

I want to copy song from my PC to this device but it not allows me.

How are you trying to copy the music over? Direct transfers are not allowed. You must use the software. Also check that your device in unlocked when trying to sync.

Someone has told me that I can download free music for 14 days- is it true?

Zune Pass comes with a 14-day trial. It requires a credit card. Read the details the music is DRMed. I have Zune Pass and love it.

Can I sync music that I've downloaded from the internet or only bought one?

You can transfer all music (without DRM) to the Zune. It just requires that it be in a compatible format. MP3 and WMA are safe bets.
