Not Yet Rated New to Zune

I just picked this thing up, I hope it was a smart move.  I'm not a fan of Apple or its products so this was the obvious choice for me.  I look forward to exchanging info with anyone willing to steer me down the learning path that comes with a new gadget.  Thanks in advance.
