My Zune 80gig is frozen, please help me out

Hey,
wondering if anyone can help me out:
i was cycling through songs on my zune and suddenly my zune just froze when i pressed the Shuffle All songs button

i have an 80g with the 3.0 software

Same thing happened to mine, seems to be a common software problem.  I got it back trying holding the back button and moving the lock from on to off.  Other combinations of buttons also seem to work.  I had it plugged into the mains charger at the time but I don't think that was the reason as it still had some charge on the battery.

I have the 80 gb zune 2gen, it works jsut fine until i make the last update to version 3.0  on september 17 ,  the enlapse time of teh songs is froozen,  like if i paused the zune,  but the song is still playing,   There is for sure a defect on the last update, and i dont want to send my zune to the repair center just to have it back in months later.

Hi. My Zune got wet 3 days ago while I was walki ng in the rain. I didnt pay much heed until it started actiing weird - switching it self on and cycling through the music at breakneck speed. I couldnt switch it off - so I just let it run out of battery. Today I attempted to re-charge it - but it has frozen - and I cant switch it off - or ove through the menus. Now when I plug in my zune - its not being picked up by the PC. I did download whatever the newest version of the software at the prompt earlier and disconnect the device ? Weird !!!

Last night I was listening to my zune..and my friend hit the back button..

And it just stopped.

Like literally...the song stoped the zune turned off...and now it wont ..charge...

Any Ideas on how to fix this?

hold the back button and top button at the same time for like 10 seconds and it should restart it. My zune froze after pressing the shuffle songs button and it shut off and would turn back on but i did that combination and it fixed it

press the up and back button it resets it
