I know I did post this on my twitter. I cannot confirm that this will be done. A user on the zune.net forum says that his zune will be replaced. I am working on finding out if this is the truth.

I got good hopes for the ones affected, I've also heard other stories about people getting their Zunes replaced due to them not coming out of their frozen state.

By the way, thanks for helping out earlier with my Zune software and suggesting options Matthew.

from my recent experiences, about every one that has follow my directions on resetting their devices has had complete success.

sooo, if all those people with frozunes follow my directions they wouldn't need to have them replaced!  and, i dont think MS will replace a device that has been "tampered" with, i.e. opening the case.  so really my option is almost the only one, right? unless you havent opened the case and really really dont want to.

i suppose some people have a worn out scratched zune that they havent "Tampered with", and wouldnt mind getting a brand new one in trade
 haha
