I agree that they need to give us all new ones, I can't live without my zune. Microsoft had better do something about this problem quickly. I can't believe they didn't think about this happening and have preperations to fix it already !!!!! This is Bullcrap with a capital BBBBBBBBBBB

You should have gotten an iPod.  Apple definitely would have fixed this issue, if it was THEIR issue.

Aight i know everyone like myself has the freezing issue. i did my research and got a lil curious about resetting the internal clock on my zune i thought what the hell.. so here check out this link it will show you exactly what to do i followed the exact steps charged up my 30gb zune and now two hours later am listening to all my favorite tunes.

also if you are unable to understand the steps or are not able to figure out anything or have any questions please feel free to email me at Pv2patti.army@yahoo.com name is David  hope all this works for everyone.

or here are the steps written out

Tools: 1 Very Small screwdriver
and a thing piece of hard plastic ex; a guitar pick
a bottle cap to hold screws for they are very small

Step: 1

Take small screwdriver and pop off small black cap covering the charger outlet on bottom of zune.

Step: 2

Unscrew the two screws and set them in the cap or a safe place.

Step: 3

with the pick or piece of plastic or ur nail starting from the bottom carefully pop off the front of your zune.

Step: 4

Once your zune is uncovered you will see a battery which is connected by a lil clip (brown) lift softly up on this clip to release battery strand, wait 30 seconds then slide it back in and making sure its all the way in slide the clip back down until it clicks back into place.

Step 5

making sure the battery is back in its slot starting at the top making sure the headphone jack and top slider are aligned reassemble ur zune this step is better described in video.

Step 6

Charge your zune and make sure its a full charge turn on and ENJOY!!!.. Again if you have any questions feel free to email me i will check many times through out the day to answer any questions you may have..

have a great dav

hope this helps you krissy
