For those who have tried it, what are the most useful and coolest new features in Vista? I think that it offers a lot of eye candy, but what do people think about new OS features?

well i had helped in the development of vista, so it wonrt be right on my part to decide which was the coolest part. it was fun working on it, so i would say that overall it was cool. not just some features.

I think some of the most useful stuff was under the hood. The new security features are nice and the most helpful 'feature' I guess would be some of the interfacing they added. They took a page out of Apple's book and added stuff to just make the environment nicer looking and easier/more productive to work in.

I'll be very surprised to see if any of the "new security features" go very far. XP is at the point now where it's not terrible security wise, but I'm not too optimistic for Vista security.
