Watch out zune is stealing music back!!
I bought my music to own with their zune cards (not the $14.99 where you rent the music)  and now they are stripping music that i own and telling me there is nothing you can do!!!!!!
I have 13,634 song plays and 220 albums and all the music was bought from the market place now they decided to no longer have that song on the market place they then strip it from any device with no intentions of giving it back to you.   yes you can call them and prove to them that you bought it to own and your record will show that you did but it but they just tell you there there is nothing they can do and that they will look into it.
They did however credit my account with 3 songs/points  but it took me 13 hours on the phone and when i found more hundreds more they told me well we already credited you for 3 songs and they cant credit anymore but they will look into it.
OK then we are now looking into a class action law suit  because this is not legal so please reply if you have any comments to this B.S.

P.S.  way to make sure you dont get your music stripped from your device ( well it will still get stripped and you have to reload it) make sure you make a hard copy of the songs onto a cd because once you have bought it you can and should be able to keep it and they cant take it from a disk but they can from your device which is not legal!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, what you're saying is that if you buy Song A off the market place and they later decide to not have Song A on the market place their software will remove it from your Zune?

If that is true then that does sound a bit odd.

cause i did think that it is/was odd  I thought i OWNED it  now as i said if you make a hard copy of it you will always have it but even with it down loaded to my computer first it is not on my computer either i have no explanation for it other then i'm pissed and will continue my efforts in getting all  $1,600+ back  they them selves are not sure why this is happing and also offer no compensation for all the B.S.

Is it possible their network of music servers is simply suffering a temporary glitch?

Being litigation-happy is the reason for our discomfort today, don't be a lawyer-whore, try asking useful questions and not just screaming at MS for refunds.

oh yes really funny why dont you look at the hundreds of people that are having the same problem!!! before assuming I'm a lawyer whore  all i have asked is for them to replace my music and they refuse they gave me a refund for 3 songs and nothing for the other 400+ songs
i still no longer own because they took them from me   if they were willing to fix the problem then that would be that but instead they pretty much told me there is nothing they can do and no it is no glitch in there system they are just stealing from their costomers hoping they wont notic or care

P.S before this posting we spent over 60 hours on the phone over a three week period and never screamed at MS for a refund till they refused to fix the problem or offer a sulution note out of 400+ songs only 3 were refunded and said there is nothing else they could do    some big refund huh!   so heck yes i will do what i can to make sure the problem gets fixed

Why dont you go thru all your songs/albums and see how many songs have beed stripped from your device (bought from zune market place)  and then call them and see they will do to help solve the problem (give music back or give points back) and then come put your post up then youll see why im upset iv got over 400 songs i will never get back that i already owned!

well you must be cheap and not buy to own or you dont buy much music from the market place
how many songs do you own bought from the market place we have over 8,000 songs bought from the market place so i really dont know what to tell you maybe you are lucky everyone i know that has one is having the same problem,  with at least 2 or more songs stripped

p.s. a couple days ago i talked with a rep from zune and he explained that his device has had the same problem from 3 months and they refunded all his music and the zune itself  and all im asking for is the music i paid for to own not a penny more but why would they take care of his and pretty much nothing for all of us (not including you)
I bet you have not even gone thru all your music and when you do and see you have been screwed well bummer for you!  write back when you have found one
