CuCusoft crashes - is this just tough luck?

Hello,

I've read a number of the posts here and on many other sites.  Most of them are of this nature:
"my CuCuSoft converter software just crashes as soon as I try to convert anything.  Does anyone know how fix this?"
most replies are either
"me too - any ideas"
or
"i've tried a lot of software out there and found that xxx or yyy is the best.  zzz offers these features, etc, etc"

I've not found a post out there that indicates anyone found a resolution to this problem.  I've send CuCusoft an email, but I'm not expecting much.  I'm not that jazzed that I apparently paid $40 to purchase a self-terminating program. 

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this to crash?  I know it could be one of a million things on my particular pc, but as many complaints about this program as I've now found, seems that someone must have found a fix somehow.

This program started crashing for me after I aborted a conversion.  It gave me an error message, and even though it had been working fine for me for a week, it began to terminate whenever I tried to convert.

To fix this, I uninstalled it using the control panel and then I deleted the Cucusoft folder under program files.  It worked fine for me after that.  I hope this helps anyone who has a similar problem.
