This will completely shut off the unit increasing battery life that was being spent saving your position in the song or video. the previous method just puts your player into hibernate mode

I just got it Thursday so I dont know about this stuff. Example: If you add some tracks to the quicklist, and then play them, does the zune switch itself off after the playlist has been completed? Are there auto turnoff options? Thanks in advance!

I love my zune, and am totally pissed off now that this issue has not been addressed by MS. NOTHING on thir KB even mentions this, other than charge your battery... I’ll come home from the Y, notice that the battery is still at a full or nearly full charge, move the hold switch to the unlock position, hold the play/pause button and watch it appear to turn off, only to find it dead as a door nail the next morning, and then I have to workout without music, which really stinks.
